Internship Programme

In order to bring in new and fresh, innovative ideals in the organization’s programmes. YVZ does on a regular basis invite young and talented people to join it internship programme. The internship programme may last between six months and one year. The participants in the internship programme have the opportunity to have a feel of all the programmes that YVZ might be conducting at the time of their internship. The interns also act as mentors for the next intake of Peer Educators, providing advice if they encounter problems and acting as a ‘back-stop’ if the need arises. The Project Officers at YVZ keep in touch with the interns, who work at the project site – through weekly meetings. Their input is extremely valuable for assessing the impact of a programme. In that way the interns are in tune with our target audience and YVZ is able to harness the talent of the interns.
