LATEST NEWS AT YVZ
New website is now live!We are proud to announce the launch of our new website.
Youth Vision Zambia (YVZ) was formed in 2002 and is a leading advocacy voice for sexual and reproductive health care and rights, particularly for Zambia’s youthful population. We are at the forefront of the debate on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Zambia for young people.
YVZ’s information and education covers prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse, HIV and AIDS prevention and support to people living with HIV and AIDS. YVZ values the voices of young people and their meaningful participation in the formulation and implementation of programmes.
YVZ does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, or age. The programme areas for YVZ are Lusaka, Central and Southern Province of Zambia. YVZ works with youth people from the age of 10 to 35, and other stakeholders such as the parents, policy makers, (parliamentarians, traditional and community workers) and service providers (teachers and health practitioners).
